FONDEP is a Microcrédit financing firm in Morocco and the last place we visited as a group during this trip. We spoke with a project officer who was very knowledgeable about the services that they provided and the challenges and advancements the NGO has made in the last decade. Our group asks tough questions, so kudos to her.

Morocco: Day Twelve
Probably the most high profile day we’ve had all trip. We met back to back with representatives from the USAID, US Embassy, World Bank, and a professor who talked about Arab Spring and its effect on Morocco.
Morocco: Day Eleven
Today was a hybrid of lecture, field trip, group work, and casual free time in the city of Rabat.
My favorite moments were breakfast and the beach. We had our regular: bread, cheese, and fruit jam with cafe au lait. I think sipping cafe au lait every morning is always a top moment. I usually stop talking to my roommate and just sip and breathe.
